Diagnostics

Diagnostics help administrators and support identify setup, permission, database, event, and module problems.

Plan Required​

Normal.

Required Bot Permissions​

Diagnostics can run with basic bot access, but permission diagnostics need the bot to be in the guild and able to inspect channels and roles.

Setup​

/healthcheck
/diagnostics run

Testing​

Run /healthcheck after major setup changes. Use /diagnostics report before asking support for help.

Common Issues​

  • Premium locked module shows SKIP: upgrade to Premium Monthly ($10/month) or Premium Lifetime ($35 lifetime). A plan lock is not a failed setup check.
  • Manage Roles warning: grant Manage Roles and move Grimoire above every role it must assign or remove.
  • View Audit Log warning: grant View Audit Log to identify who deleted roles or channels.
  • Missing channel: recreate the channel or update the module's configured channel.
  • Message Content warning: enable Message Content intent for keyword and anti-link content matching.
  • Guild Presences warning: enable Guild Presences intent for Status Blacklist and allow the presence cache to populate.

When requesting support, attach the text or JSON output from /diagnostics report and include the command that failed.
