Sticky Messages

Sticky Messages keep important information visible by refreshing a configured message in a channel.

Plan Required​

Normal.

Required Bot Permissions​

  • Send Messages
  • Manage Messages if cleanup is enabled
  • Embed Links

Setup​

/modules enable sticky_messages
/stickymessage create
/stickymessage list
/stickymessage remove

Example Setup​

/stickymessage create channel:#rules message:Read the rules before opening a ticket.

Testing​

Send messages in the channel and confirm the sticky message remains visible.

Common Issues​

  • Sticky does not refresh: check Send Messages.
  • Old sticky remains: check Manage Messages if cleanup is configured.
