Invite Grimoire with the permissions needed for the modules you plan to use. Start with a clean invite, then verify role hierarchy before enabling role-related systems.

  • Moderate Members
  • Ban Members, only if using Dangerous Admin Tools
  • View Audit Log

Required Intents​

Enable these in the Discord Developer Portal when using the related features:

  • Server Members Intent: welcome, auto roles, sticky roles, verification, role and member workflows
  • Message Content Intent: keyword responses, anti-link, anti-spam
  • Presence Intent: Status Blacklist live detection

After Inviting​

Run:

/ping
/healthcheck
/setup permissions

If role assignment fails, move Grimoire's highest role above every role it manages.
